Prompt: Does the title fit the story? Why or why not?

Yes the title does fit the story very well. In the story the main character, Lucy, compares her life with the famous fairytale Cinderella. She starts off a a new student with no friends, she even ate in the art room so she didn't have to suffer eating alone. During the story Lucy finds out that the most popular boy in school has a crush on her, when everyone finds out, she becomes the most popular girl in school. Instantly everyone knows who she is, and everyone wants to talk to her. Lucy describes it as the beginning of a very happy ending, and just when she thought nothing could get better, Connor asks her on a date.! Now Lucy is convinced she is living a fairytale, she thinks this is her happy ending, but it isn't even close.
She is very passionate about art and so is one of her classmates, Sam. Sam and Lucy have taken the time to get to know each other, and little does Lucy know that Sam is falling for her. Soon, Lucy finds herself thinking about Sam, more than her boyfriend, Connor. It was homecoming, Lucy and Connor were the most popular couple going, and as soon as they call Connor and Sam's girlfriend as homecoming king and queen, Lucy doesn't feel jealousy. Instead she feels relieved. She goes off to find Sam, and talks to him, she feel comfortable and safe. She then thinks about her and Connor relationship, she thinks about how Connor barely even knows her, she thinks about how the only conversation they have is about basketball, and in that moment, Lucy decides that Connor isn't her Prince Charming. Sam is.
The title really tells a lot about the story, without giving too much away. The story is like a modern Cinderella story. The title shows how she has a wicked stepmother, and how things are really bad at home, but one guy can fix everything. She has a terrible life at home; forgotten, misplaced, and misunderstood. The title helps make you think of the original Cinderella story, but with a modern day twist.
I commented on Leanna, Gabe, and Nadrian's.
