Loved your vlog! I really liked how you included images that showed some pieces of the story. The quote you said as well was actually really inspiring and supported you're opinion on why the book shouldn't banned or challenged, in which I totally agree with you. Overall great job, an I liked the song too! :)
I knew that Looking For Alaska had gotten banned, but I didn't know the reasons behind it. Now that I'm learning from you that it got banned because of explicit content like drugs and alcohol and swearing, I feel really angry because it seems like such a great book! I feel like most banned books get banned even tough they have a great message, but others chose to look past that and only focus on the small things of the book.
Wow, you were really clear and got straight to the point. It's crazy how it was one of the most challenged books in 2013. *Looking for Alaska* was challenged five times for offensive language, drugs, alcohol, smoking, and being sexually explicit. I kinda really want to read this book now for some reason. Amazing job!
You did a really amazing job on your vlog. I liked the pictures you had and they were timed good with what you were saying. I learned that "Looking for Alaska" was challenged five times in many different places.
Citlalli, I loved your blog on why "Looking for Alaska" was banned, and why you think it shouldn't be banned! I'm reading this book right now, and I never knew so many things about it being banned that you taught me! I learned that the book was challenged 5 times, in 3 states! Do you know which states? I also agree with you, I understand why it was banned, but I still don't think it should've been! Your vlog was overall very informative, and I learned so much about this 1 specific banned book, and I also loved the format you created it in!
I didn't realize that this book was banned for offensive language. I loved how you had pictures instead of recording yourself. It was the first time I saw a video like this. I never read this book, so I wouldn't personally realize if it was okay to ban, but based on what you said it must have had a little reason.
