I really love you poem! It has a great visual and is very unique from the others I've read. Your nonsense words are really cool and different. What influenced you to write a poem about this,( a more serious motivating poem than a random crazy poem)? Overall great job I enjoyed reading it!
Great poem! I liked the picture, it wasn't blurry and it fit in with the poem well. I feel like this might be slightly copied though from the All Time Low song "Weightless". Though nice nonsense words.
In the beginning you compare yourself to a book that's half unread which I'm sure a lot of people can relate, too. It also reminds me of my new years resolutions, trying to be a better person then I was before. The message of this poem struck me as something really beautiful as did the theme! Also, I really liked the visual you provided. It reminds me of a different path that you could take, too.
I can't beginning to explain who I felt when I read this poem. It got a little bit teared up. I really love how you partly compared it to a book in the beginning. Your repetition on the part "I'm finally going to start" is a part of the poem that really gets to you, well at least to me it did. This is just like a life poem and it says a lot to me about how other people may feel. The picture that you have as your background really ties in with your poem. I can see why your chose that. It's like starting at a new path.
I really enjoyed reading your poem. It was great! You really are talented. The ending was amazing and in certain parts of the poem, I could connect to them.
I commented on Leanna, Julia, and Nadrian's nonsense poems.

ReplyDeleteThis poem really stands out. Not only does it sound like you are using personification throughout the poem but it is also like a metaphor. Great job!
